Ashley Alexander and Jack Utrata (Lullaby, Shakespeare in Quarantine, The Sonnet Project) were named Semi-Finalists in the Screenplay Competition at The Big Apple Film Festival last night for their pilot "11 Blocks To Go."
"11 Blocks To Go" synopsis is described as "After a pattern of toxic behavior leaves best friends Drew and Samantha at a standstill, they both agree to a 3-month pact to reclaim control of their lives and save their friendship."
Alexander and Utrata are a writer duo and are slated to star in the leading roles of Samantha and Drew. The Big Apple Film Festival is the second nomination for the pair.
